Instead of AC3 pass through, the SDI-Input based version supports AAC.

MPEG1 LayerII Stereo

as well as bitrate and Volume Gain
But be careful with the HDMI source:
You need to set the HDMI source audio output mode
from RAW to PCM first, then select encoding
MPEG1layer2 again .
For AC3-pass, the audio signal is an encoded signal and
it's RAW. But for mpeg1layer2 the encoder needs
an uncompress signal: PCM
