· General Warnings:

· The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental 

capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervised or instruction concern-

ing use of the appliance by a responsible person for their safely.

· Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

· If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified 

person in order to avoid a hazard.

· There shall be adequate ventilation of the room when the rangehood is used at the same time as appliances 

burning gas or other fuels.

· Ensure that the range rangehood is cleaned frequently.

· There is a risk of fire if cleaning is not carried out in accordance with the instructions.

· Do not flambé under the range rangehood.

· Warnings for Installation:

· The exhaust air must not be discharged into a flue that is used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning 

gas or other fuels.

· The minimum distance from the hob surface and the lowest part of the range rangehood must not beless than 

60cm. If the instructions for the hob specify a greater distance, please consider this.

· The regulations concerning the discharge of exhaust air have to be fulfilled.

· Exercise care when the rangehood is installed in an area where a gas burner is operating. Depending on the size 

of the room, the rangehood may draw from the room air that is necessary for proper combustion of the burner. 

All Blanco rangehoods are used for indoor application only.

GENERAL

Carefully read the following important information regarding installation safety and maintenance. Keep this 

information booklet accessible for further reference. The appliance has been designed for use inthe ducting version 

(air exhaust to the outside), filtering recirculating version (air circulation on the inside).

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Before connecting the rangehood to the electricity network:

· Refer to the data plate (positioned inside the appliance) to ascertain that the voltage and power correspond to 

the network and the socket is suitable. If in doubt ask a qualified electrician.

· If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced with another cable of the same specification.

· Assembly and electrical connections must be carried out by a qualified tradesperson / electrician.

Warning:  Failure to  install  the  screws  or  fixing  device in  accordance  with these instructions 

may result in electrical hazards  (see technical data if supplied).

This product may be installed in 2 different ways:

Type A installation (fig. 4)

· Installing the rangehood to the lower part of the wall cabinet.

Type B installation (fig. 5)

· Installing the rangehood between two wall cabinets

· Installing the rangehood to the lower part of the wall cabinet (fig. 4A)

This type of appliance must be positioned underneath the cabinet; before installation the front panel of the 

rangehood must be aligned with the cabinet and fixed in place by tightening the 4 screws D (suited to the type of 

cabinet) in the corresponding holes E (fig. 4) (please refer to the measurements indicated in fig. 1).

· Installing the rangehood between two wall cabinets (fig.5B)

The following procedures must be performed before the rangehood is installed:1. Lift the 4 side tabs on the 

rangehood as indicated in figure 5.1.2. Take the screw guides B out of the pack supplied and position them in 

corresponding two holes (perside) on the rangehood, as indicated in figure 5.2.3. Fix the guides B using the screws 

supplied C, as indicated in figure 5.3. Make the holes in the side panel of the cabinet, according to the measurements 

indicated in fig. 1 and taking the thickness of the front panel into account so that the rangehood remains at the 

same level as the cabinets at the side. Fix the rangehood to the cabinet by inserting the screws D (suited to the 

type of cabinet) into the holes corresponding to the guides B, as indicated in figure 5.4.

Fitting the spacers.

To fill in any space remaining between the rangehood and the wall, simply position spacer and fix in place with 

the 3 screws L as indicated in figure 1

· If the rangehood is set up as a ducting version (air exhaust to the outside) the lever D must be positioned as
