X) TROUBLESHOOTING
The diagnosis and repair of faults or damage, if they occur, must only be carried out if all the WARNINGS
described in this manual are followed to the letter.
ONLY AUTHORISED PERSONNEL ARE PERMITTED TO CARRY OUT REPAIRS
Problem Cause Solution
The scissor lift does not work.
The hydraulic pump works.

Dirt in the hydraulic system.

Disconnect and clean the
connections.

Disconnect the hose brake
valve and blow it with
compressed air.
The scissor lift has no strength.

Too much weight on it.

To low pressure of the
incoming air.

Dirt in the hydraulic system.

Leakage at the interior of the
hydraulic system

The hydraulic pump sends
operate with too low pressure.

Check the weight. It should not
exceed 2800Kg for PLT40 /
4500Kg for PLT55.

Control air pressure.
Correct: 6-10bar

See above.

Change the packings.

Contact an approved
BLACKHAWK ® centre
The scissor lift raise and lowers
irregularly.

Air in the hydraulic system

Jam between the plastic
blocks and the tracks.

Raise the scissor lift up and
down a few times without any
load.

Oil the tracks.
The scissor lift lowers slowly.

External or internal leakage of
the hydraulic

Check the external leakage.

Change packings in the
cylinder.

To order spare parts, it is necessary to indicate the lift and pump serial numbers as well as the year of
manufacturing.
