4.3 Deleting a COM Port
To permanently delete a USB Solo from your system’s
configuration, use the Remove button in My
Computer/Control Panel/System/Device Manager after
highlighting the appropriate device. If you plug the
serial converter in again after deleting it, the system will
respond as if it were a new device. The COM port
number may change in this situation.
