c) When addresses are assigned to a series of IPS satellites, all satellites that
share a specific address (for example, 2), are part of the same zone. For
example, if your application includes three satellites whose address
selector switches are set to 2, then those three satellites are all part of zone
2, and any commands directed to zone 2 apply to those three satellites.

NOTES
The master will not recognize satellites that are connected while the
master is powered on until the master has been powered off and back
on again.
If you attempt to address a command to a satellite that was connected
after power on, the IPS plug status screen indicates that the satellite is
not recognized.
After connecting satellites to the master, use the power switch on the
master’s back panel to power the master off and then back on again.
This allows the master to recognize all newly connected satellites.
