OVERVIEW
Our ServSwitch
™
Brand Micro Extender Kits with Dual VGA
enable you to take full advantage of the dual-head output
supported by many modern graphics adapter cards. With them,
you can keep a server in a remote location up to 164 feet
(50 m) from your local keyboard, mouse, and two monitors.
The extenders use CAT5, CAT5e, or CAT6 cable to support
both video links as well as keyboard and mouse signals.
All extenders are flash upgradable, plus they support
1600 x 1200 resolution so you get sharp, clear video
even on larger monitors.
Send serial and audio, too!
Two kits (ACU3222A, ACU3228A) support serial RS-232
signals as well as audio on the same CAT5, CAT5e, or CAT6
cable. Use them to connect to serial touch screens and
printers. Audio extension provides bidirectional stereo
transmission across the link so you can, for instance,
hear audible alarms at your workstation.
Twice the access.
Dual-access models (ACU3209A, ACU3228A) enable two
dual-monitor workstations—one local and one remote—
to access a server. For example, you can have a local work-
station in your server room and another in your office or
other remote location.
Extended compatibility.
The Standalone Remote Units (ACUMR02A, ACUMRA02A)
offer all the features of the remote units of the ACU3201A
and ACU3222A, plus they provide additional functionality
to our rackmount CAT5 KVM extender hubs. They require
no software, and they perform complete PS/2
®
keyboard
and mouse emulation for the attached servers.
Rack ‘em up!
Organize your extenders with the Rackmount Kit for CATx
Extenders (RMK19U-X3). It enables you to rack three local or
remote extender units in a standard 19" rack.
