5.2 Control Module Configuration
When you select “Control Module Configuration” from the Switch menu, or when
you click “Configuration” at the Control Module Processing box, the dialog box
shown in Figure 5-4 appears.

This box is for configuring some of the ServLINK’s systemwide Power Management
Module settings. Here’s what the components of this box are for:

Require Reasons for Power OFF Actions
When this box is checked, users are required to provide a reason whenever
they reboot or power down any device connected to a Power Management
Module from the “Control Module Processing: Settings” window (see
Section 5.1.2
). The justification may contain up to two lines of 50 characters
per line, and is saved in the ServLINK’s event log.

Require Reasons for Power ON Actions
When this box is checked, users are required to provide a reason whenever
they power on any device connected to a Power Management Module from the
“Control Module Processing: Settings” window (see
Section 5.1.2
). The reason
entered may contain up to two lines of 50 characters per line, and is saved in
the ServLINK’s event log.
