MINI DRIVER MPI
You can strap the Mini Driver MPI to be either
constantly on, or to be controlled by the Request to
Send signal. Operation with controlled carrier
enables the connection of the Mini Driver MPI in a
multipoint configuration (see Figure 1). You can also
use controlled carrier in applications requiring the
passing of a control signal end-to-end—the RTS one
one Mini Driver MPI is passed to the DCD on the
other unit.

The Mini Driver MPI features a switch selectable
DTE/DCE option. The unit can operate as a DTE
in order to connect to another DCE, such as a
multiplexer port, without the use of cross cable.
