7. Installation 

• Power installation

 

Power requirement: 100–240 VAC, 50–60Hz 
Connect to an AC power source with an AC power cord.

 

 

Cabling Requirements 

To help ensure a successful installation and keep the network performance good, make sure you use the required cable. 
Cables with worse specifications will cause the LAN to work poorly.

Cabling Requirements for TP 

The cable grade must be CAT5e that’s up to 328 feet (100 meters) long.

Cabling Requirements for FX 

1000BASE-SX/LX networks only support full-duplex mode. The Switch-based Media Converter breaks up TP and Fiber 
segments’ collision domain to extend the cabling distance.
