3. Installation
3.1 Connecting the Switch to PCs, Servers, and
Other Network Devices
Use straight-through twisted-pair cable (CAT5) to connect the
Switch to PCs, servers, and other network devices. See Figure
3-1.

3.2 Connecting the Switch to a Switch or a Hub
Use the straight-through twisted-pair cable to connect the
switch to another switch or hub on the uplink port.
