Reduces Network Costs
Black Box Media Converters offer the ideal solution to quickly and
inexpensively connect Twisted Pair with Fiber or ThinNet media within
an expanding Ethernet network where full repeaters are not required.
No added Repeater Hop Count
Media Converters do not add signal timing delays associated with full
repeaters, and can be installed without increasing the repeater hop count
of an existing network.
Fiber / twisted-pair models for fiber and media types
A variety of twisted-pair-to-fiber models provide single or multi-mode
full or half duplex mode, ST connectors, and Link Pass-through operation.
