Connect Local to Remote via fiber cable
BEFORE YOU GET STARTED
Make sure that all the drivers required for your
USB devices are installed.
CONNECT LOCAL TO REMOTE
Place the units where desired, and connect
the fiber extension link cabling into the
Link ports (RJ-45) of the Local and
Remote Extenders.

CHOOSING FIBER CABLE
For IC404A-R2, you must use
multimode
fiber optic cable, up to a maximum length
of 1600 feet (500 m) between the local and
remote extenders.
For IC406A-R2, you must use
single-mode
fiber optic cable, up to a maximum length
of 6.2 miles (10 km) between the local and
remote extenders.
