Basic Single-Mode or Multimode Light Source
4.2 Turning the Light Source On and Off
1. Press the
key for less than two seconds. The light source powers on
and you see the screen shown in Figure 4-4.

2. Press the
key briefly again. The light source powers off.
3. The light source powers off automatically if you do not press a key within
10 minutes. To turn off the auto-off function, press the
key for more
than two seconds when turning on the light source to deactivate the auto-off
function and the indicator will disappear on the LCD.
4.3 Switching the Wavelength
Press the
key repeatedly until the desired wavelength displays. Select from
two possible wavelengths: 850 and 1300 nm (FOLS-MM-100) or 1310 and 1550
nm (FOLS-SM-100). See Figure 4-5.
