You can program the Security Key through the RJ-11 “Program Ports.”
NOTE
Each Security Key may be programmed differently, allowing only
various units to access selected ports.
Each Modem Router Switch transfers a unique factory system ID code and a user-
selected ID to the Security Key during programming. This prevents the Security
Key from being used on other systems. The Security Keys are shipped
programmed, to have all ports enabled, but you can change this programming.
In either touchtone or secure mode, the switch can abort unauthorized calls and
route them to the “Default Port” (Port #1). This allows you to share the Modem
Router Switch with other normal voice or data activity on the phone line.
