Always use proper eye protection that
conforms to ANSI Z87.1 (CAN/CSA Z94.3) while operating this
power tool.

CAUTION:
Inspect area to be trimmed and remove any wire, cord,

line or spool. Be particularly careful to avoid any wire which might
be bent outwardly into the path of the tool, such as barbs at the
base of a chain link fence.
OPERATING THE TRIMMER
The trimmer is equipped with a
variable speed trigger which allows for
greater control when trimming around
abrasive surfaces or heavier weeds.
The farther the trigger is pulled, the
faster the trimmer will run.
•
Insert the fully charged battery into the
trimmer until you hear it “click” into place
as shown in
figure J.
•
To turn the trimmer on, pull the lock off
button (1), back and, then squeeze the
trigger switch (2) shown in
Figure K
.
In a few seconds or less you’ll hear the
nylon line being cut automatically to the
proper length.
•
To turn the tool off, release the trigger.
•
To extend run
time, operate
the trimmer
only as fast as
is needed to
get the job
done.
