 Additional safety warnings for planers

u

Hold the tool by the insulated gripping surfaces when
performing an operation where the cutting tool may
contact hidden wiring or its own cord.

Cutting accessory

contacting a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts of
the power tool "live" and shock the operator.

u

support the workpiece to a stable platform.

Holding the

work by hand or against your body leaves it unstable and

Keep the cutter sharp.

Dull or damaged cutters may cause

the planer to swerve or stall under pressure. Always use
the appropriate type of cutter for the power tool.

u

Do not touch the workpiece or the cutter immediately after

operating the tool. They can become very hot.

u

before planning.

u

provided.

u

Immediately disconnect the cable from the mains if it is

damaged or cut.
