1  Start  by deciding how  long you

want your extension cable to be  The

longer it is, the thicker the wire must
be to  keep the total  electrical
resistance  low.

Your saw has a ‘lock-off’ type switch
for safety  You must  press the  lock
button  before you can  pull  the
trigger-switch  When  you  let go of
the switch,  the  lock button
automatically  re-engages to  prevent
accidental  operation of the  switch

Use an A C  power point of the
correct  voltage for your  saw  This  is
shown  on  the warning  label  Never

use a  light  socket

Your chainsaw  is doufcle  insulated,

which  means  that  there  is an extra

insulation  barrier  between  the

electrical  and  mechanical  parts

How to  use your chainsaw

Use your chainsaw to cut wood only.  Don’t force the saw -  it will  do a
better and safer job at the speed for which  it was designed.

If the saw chain or  bar becomes
jammed  -
•   switch  off
•   disconnect from  the main  supply

•   open the cut with wedges to relieve

the  strain  on  the  guide bar

Don't  try to wrench  the saw free
