Use
Warning!
Do not use the appliance without
the reservoir filled.
Before first use
• For a perfect taste, carry out 2 or 3
boil-processes with fresh water (without
coffee). Once all the water has passed
through, switch off the appliance and let
it cool down for 5 minutes. Then repeat
the process with fresh water.
• Rinse and dry all parts.
Making Coffee
• Lift the lid (1) & use the carafe (7) to pour
fresh, cold water into the reservoir (3),
watching the level in the water level
indicator (4) to ensure it is not
over-filled.
• Place the carafe (7) on the hotplate (11).
• Place the filter holder (10) into the unit,
pulling the handle away from the lid to
lock it in place on the 2 pins. Put the
filter in the filter holder & fold the handle
down. Add coffee as required & close the
lid, pressing down to lock it in place.
• Connect the appliance to a suitable
electrical supply. The unit will emit an
audible warning, the Display Panel (8)
will light and the numbers will flash.
• Press the on/off button. The element will
heat the water in the adjacent pipe until
it boils.
• Disconnect the product from the supply
after use
• If you wish to get a cup of coffee while
brewing, remove the carafe from the
hotplate. The built in valve will prevent
drips
• Connect the appliance to a suitable
electrical supply. The Display Panel will
light and the numbers will flash.
• Press the “h” button, then the “m” button
to display the current time. Holding the
buttons down will allow the numbers to
scroll, alternatively, each press will
advance the numbers by one.
