Before leaving, collect the packing and clean any dust on
the appliance with a damp cloth. These operations, though
not strictly essential, transmit a sense of professionalism
to the User.
In order to avoid useless calls from the User, before
leaving:
-
explain the contents of the Manual,
-
explain how to clean the filter.
-
clarify when and how to call the Assistance Service.
Operations after installing
No structural obstacles or objects (furniture, curtains,
plants, leafage, shutters, etc.) must ever obstruct the
normal air flow both from the internal and from the
external grilles.
Do not lean against, or worse sit on, the body of the
conditioner, this would damage the appliance.
Do not move the horizontal air outlet flap manually.
Always use the remote control to carry out this operation.
In the case of water leaks from the appliance turn it off
and switch off the power supply immediately. Then call
the closest assistance centre.
During heating operation the conditioner periodically
removes ice that may have formed on the external
battery. In this condition the machine is active but does
not send hot air to the room. This stage may last from 3
to 10 minutes.
The appliance must not be installed in places where
explosive gases are produced or where humidity
and temperature are out of the maximum thresholds
specified in the installation manual.
Clean the air filter regularly as specified in the relevant
paragraph.
