Menu Access and Options
4.1
How to Access the Menu
Before using the instrument, it is important to be familiarized with its menu structure and learn
how to view or change settings and parameters. Follow the steps below to guide you in
selecting the menu options.
1.
From the normal display, press the
key and the
button to enter the menu.
2.
Use the
keys or encoder knob to move through the menu selections.
3.
When the selected item is blinking, press the
button to access its menu
settings. There may be parameters or options to select within each menu item. Follow
the same instructions as described in the previous steps to select them.
4.
To save changes to a setting, press the
button.
To exit the menu at any time, press the
key multiple times. Each press exits out of a
submenu.
4.2
Menu Options
All settings and parameters can be configured from the built-in menu system of the power
supply. The menu system is divided into the following sections as displayed on the power
supply.
Config
OutState
Set the output state during power-on.
OutParam
Set the power-on parameters
Knob
Lock/unlock the rotary knob
Buzzer
Enable/disable instrument beeper
Communication
Select and configure RS232, GPIB, and USB interfaces
MemoryGroup
Select memory group
Protocol
Select SCPI options
ReturnMeter
Enable automatic return state
Reset
Reset menu
Exit
Move up menu structure
