PROGRAMMING MEMORY KEYS
To program the auto dial keys, the telephone must be connected to a telephone
line.
5) Lift handset or press [SPKR].
6) press [STORE],.
Dial the number desired including [PAUSE] and [FLASH] key where
necessary, press [STORE] key again . The sequence can be up to 16 digits
in length.
7) Press a Memory key (including [MWL]) to finish.
8) Hang up the handset or press the [SPKR] key to disconnect the telephone.
MESSAGE WAITING LIGHT
It is compatible with Lucent LED or high voltage neon/90V systems.
After stored a voice mail access number, If there’s message waiting, lift handset
or press [SPKR], then press [MWL] key to play messages.
[MWL] functions also as ringing indicator.
DATA PORT
This phone is equipped with a DATA PORT jack for guest s to connect an
auxiliary phone device, such as a computer modem or a fax machine.
The DATA PORT switch on the back of the phone controls the DATA PORT
function by enabling you to choose the line that the data port uses, for two line
models, it has three options , line 1, line2 or line 3. For single line models, only
two options, line 1or line2.
CONVERTING FROM DESK TO WALL MOUNT
It is best to do the conversion before connecting the handset and line cords.
Hold the telephone in front of the two mushroom shaped mounting post on the
wall. Both eyelets should line up with the mounting posts, slide telephone down
slightly. When properly installed the telephone will be stable and secure.
