GENERALITY
This 2 wires receiver works only with 2or 4 doors Proximan controller. The remote controls use the Rolling
code mode.
Please note that the receiver could be connected to the controller without prior confi guration.
The unit display will show you, as soon as the reader is connected, “Reader door 1: RF receiver” for
example.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
In case of a specifi c antenna, cable and power the system on.
The led called “environment” gives you information about the electromagnetic environment. When the led
is off, there is a high quality RF reception. But when the led is on, the environment has electromagnetic
disturbances.
The second led called “rec ok“ indicates that the receiver has received a signal from a remote control.
If the connection with the controller doesn’t work properly, this led will blink. (1 per second).
The performance of the 868 Mhz receiver depends on the electromagnetic environment. Distance of reception
can change with the presence of other systems using the same frequency.
USE IN READ & WRITE TECH
For each site, you must move near the receiver and press the button of each remote control for 7 seconds.
This is necessary to transmit all the data from the remote control to the controller (The fi rst time or after new
programming).
HOW TO OPTIMIZE THE RADIO RECEPTION
The receiver AV0151/013 is supplied with a wire equivalent to an antenna. In most cases, this wire will be
suffi cient to have a good reception of the signals sent by the remote control. You can improve the reception
by putting the receiver and the wire horizontally.
To improve the reception distance, you can replace the wire by an antenna only if the environment is clear of
any electromagnetic disturbances (See the led). This antenna should be placed horizontally to optimize the
reception.
When the environment is really disturbed, you may wish to reposition the receiver in a better environment. This
reposition makes communications more reliable than emission distance. You can also use a fi lter that can be
mounted on the coaxial cable between the antenna and the receiver (please contact your distributor).
The product has a reduced IP protection grade, so it must be installed in enclosures to protect it against
atmospheric agents.
