12.3 Maximum Lines Per Frame

For area scan cameras, the maximum number of lines per frame is given by the follow-
ing formula:

Max_lines_per_frame = 128K x Line_taps

Line_taps is the number of taps that supply a whole line.

Examples:

A one tap camera, Max_lines_per_frame = 128K.
A two tap camera that supplies odd/even lines, Max_lines_per_frame = 256K.
A two tap camera that supplies odd/even pixels, Max_lines_per_frame = 128K.
