Deep cleaning

1. Place floor nozzle directly on carpet at arm’s length. 

Apply light downward pressure on the Grip/Trigger Unit. 
Pull trigger to spray cleaning solution (wait 30 - 60 seconds
for spray to start), while pulling wand toward you.

2. Repeat, keeping floor nozzle firmly against carpet surface.

Continue until no more dirt can be removed. 

Do not overwet.

3. Release spray trigger. 

Continue extraction until no

more cleaning solution can be removed.

4. Continue to clean entire carpet, working in 3’ x 4’ sections.
5. If the machine loses suction, stops spraying and/or motor

noise rises in pitch, check the Collection Tank inside the
Solution Container. Empty the tank if it is full. 
[See WHEN YOU’RE DONE, below]. Failure to empty tank
will damage unit.

6. If floor nozzle stops spraying, turn off pump immediately

and check cleaning solution level. Refill if needed. 

Never run pump dry.

NOTE: When using Extension Wands with your BIG
GREEN ULTRA MULTI-PURPOSE CLEANER, please
follow this procedure: Before turning off cleaner, 
lift Floor Nozzle and point upwards. This allows any
water still in the Extension Wands to flow into the
Collection Tank.

1. Turn Power switch and Pump switch to 

OFF position.

2. Unplug from outlet.
3. Rotate Flex Hose Assembly. Pull Lid Release Latch

and raise Lid completely.

4. Grasp Carry Handle and lift Solution Container

from Cleaner Body. Use finger grip at bottom of
Solution Container to steady the container.

5. Carry container to a toilet or sink. Lift and pour to

empty. Container lid will open slightly as you pour.

6. Remove Filler Cap. Grasp Carry Handle and finger

grip. Pour out unused cleaning solution from the side.

7. Raise Collection Tank Lid and locate Strainer Basket.
8. Grasp Basket, squeezing front and back of basket

to release from lid.

9. Remove basket and discard accumulated dirt and

debris. Rinse under clean running water and replace.

10. Fill Solution Supply Tank with clean water at

Filler Strainer. Rinse and discard water.

11. Fill Collection Tank with clean water. 

Rinse thoroughly and discard water.

12. Pour approximately 2 cups of clean water into

Solution Supply Tank. 

13. Plug power cord into outlet.
14. Move Power switch and Pump switch to 

ON position.

15. Hold Cleaning Nozzle over bucket, toilet or sink. 

Press and hold Spray Trigger until spray stops, to 
clean out system.

16. Move Power switch and Pump switch to 

OFF position.

17. Unplug cord from outlet.
18. Check Nozzles for accumulated dirt or debris. 

If necessary, clean with soft bristle brush.

19. Remove Foam Filter from Filter Compartment.

Clean filter in warm soapy water, rinse, and air
dry thoroughly. Place dry filter in compartment.
