Operation

The Insect Killer is activated by the on/off switch, when turned on, the light tubes will be illuminated.
Note: Light travels in straight line, therefore any interference from large objects in the light path will affect the
efficiency of the Insect Killer, if objects block the light, several units may need to be installed.

Cleaning, Care and Maintenance

The Insect Killer should be cleaned regularly, depending on the environment, this would usually be every 3-4
weeks.

Switch off power to the Insect Killer and disconnect from the mains. The black safety grids can be simply
brushed down with a soft bristle brush. The outside of the unit can also be wiped down with a damp cloth.
Remove the collecting tray from the bottom of the unit and discard the matter, and wipe over with a damp
cloth.

Do not immerse in water.

A disinfectant solution is recommended for use, when wiping down the Insect Killer.
To maintain efficiency it is recommended that the light tubes should be replaced every 9 months approximately.
