NB:
Never put any weight on the heating mat at individual points. Nor should you ever place
heavy plant pots or ones with sharp edges directly onto the mat. Any damage resulting
from such action is not covered by warranty. The heating mat should not be folded or bent.
Always roll up the mat after use and store it somewhere that is sheltered and dry. There is
also no warranty cover for damage due to folding/bending through an acute angle.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
•
Always remove the mains cable from the socket when cleaning the device.
•
Slight dust accumulations can be removed from the cover with a soft cloth or a vacuum
cleaner with brush attachment.
•
Only use a damp cloth (not one that is dripping wet) to wipe down the outer surfaces of
the device. Use a mild detergent and water solution for this. Carefully dry off the cover
with a soft cloth before you use the device again. NB: Do not allow any water to run
into the insides of the device, as it might result in fire or a short circuit.

Never submerge the device in water.

No other maintenance by the user is required or recommended. If you do require a
maintenance service, send your heater to your nearest approved service point.
•
If the device is not used for longer periods, it should be protected from excessive dust
and dirt.
6. Disposal and Repair
•
This product contains recyclable materials. Do not dispose of this product
in general household waste. Please contact your local authority to obtain
information about your nearest collection point.
•
Repairs may only be performed on the device by approved specialists.
You should therefore contact the manufacturer or the distributor in such
an event.
•
N.B.
In the event of improper repair, the warranty is rendered void.
•
Improperly executed repairs may represent a hazard both for the user and other
persons.
