HELPFUL HINTS
(TROUBLESHOOTING)
Before using the phone always check: connection of the telephone
line cord to the phone line socket and the base unit; connection of the
AC adapter to the mains and the base unit; inserting of the rechargeable
battery into the handset.
- Check that the AC adapter is
plugged into a wall outlet
- Move closer to the base unit
- If the indicator light on the handset
is flashing, charge the battery
- Disconnect the phone from the line,
wait for 30 seconds and reconnect
- Check that the battery is charged.
If the indicator light on the handset
is flashing, charge the battery
- Check that the AC adapter is
plugged into a wall outlet
- There may be too many phones
connected in parallel to a single
phone line (more than four)
- You are too far from the base unit,
move closer to the base unit.
- If the indicator light on the handset
is flashing, charge the battery
- Before initial use you should fully
charge the battery for about 15
hours
- May be it is time to replace the
battery
You cannot make a
call or answer a call
The buttons do not
operate
The phone does not
ring
Beeps are heard
during a call
The battery dis-
charges too fast
(during 1-2 hours)
