• When switching ON Iron for the first time, there might be some emission of fumes. These fumes are caused due to burning of protective lubricants. It is not a product fault & will
disappear after 1 or 2 heating cycles.
• Iron a damped towel for removing any protective chemical left on the sole plate. After a few minutes the Iron is ready for proper use.
3.2 Hints for Ironing
• Sort out the articles to be Ironed per the type of Fabric. This will minimize the frequency of temperature adjustment for different types of garments.
• Test Ironing a small area on the back side or inside the garment if you are unsure about the type of fabric. Start with a low temperature & increase gradually.
• Wait for about three minutes before Ironing heat sensitive fabrics. Temperature adjustment needs certain time to reach the required level, no matter it is higher or lower.
• Delicate fabrics such as silk, wool, velour etc. are best ironed with an ironing cloth to prevent shine marks.
