12. ORDINARY MAINTENANCE
The following operations must be carried out to avoid damages to those mechanical parts that
are subject to major workload, and to maintain good machine performances.
ATTENTION:
WHEN THE MACHINE IS NEW, THE ENGINE/PUMP GROUP NEEDS A QUICK BREAK-IN: RUN
THE MACHINE FOR NO MORE THAN AN HOUR AND WAIT 1 HOUR TO LET IT COOL. CARRY
OUT THIS OPERATION 4/5 TIMES.
A.
The boiler must be cleaned/drained once every 7/15 days. Before starting the operations
unplug the machine, wait for it to be cool until the pressure gauge's pointer reaches "0"
bar. Place a container at the bottom of the machine and carefully open the draining valve
rotating the proper lever, and let the water out.
B.
Do not leave the machine exposed very low temperatures. Freeze may damage both the
pump and other circuits. In case of long exposure to temperatures lower than 0°C, empty
all the circuits. Activate the pump, and suction anti-freeze through the water hose (A). Also
too high temperatures lead to overheating the engine when the machine is on.
C.
Check and clean at least once a month the water filter.
D. At the end of the job place the accessories on the holder (C) e and place the power cable and
the gun on the hook (D).
