4. Use
POSITIONING AND STARTING
Follow the following precautions when positioning the appliance:
•
Put the appliance on a horizontal surface.
•
Put the appliance so that it is protected against overheating.
•
Plug the power cord into the power socket.
Warnings:
Electric shock hazard in case of use of the
appliance with damaged power cord. Nev-
er start the appliance with damaged power
cord.
Warnings:
The blades (8) of the blending shaft (5) are
very sharp, to prevent injury, handle them
with extreme care, both during extraction
and while inserting.
To avoid overheating, the appliance must not be kept running
continually for more than 3 minute.
Even when not in use, unplug the appliance before mounting or re-
moving the single parts or before cleaning.
To avoid unwanted splashes, when switching the appliance on or off,
the blending shaft blade (5) must be immerged in the product.
Never immerge the blending shaft (5) completely into the food.
Only fit or remove the blender shaft (5) when the appliance is
switched off and unplugged.
ASSEMBLY/USE OF THE BLENDING SHAFT
•
Mount the appliance by inserting the blending shaft (5) in “
“ position,
in correspondence of the symbol “
“ on the motor unit (4).
•
Rotate the blending shaft clockwise by slightly pressing the motor unit
in “
” position, Fig. C.
•
Connect the plug (6) to the electrical socket, making certain that the
mains power corresponds to the indications on the tag on the back of
the appliance.
•
Hold the appliance as shown in Fig. D and immerse the blade into the
food.
