Applying the external receiver
Put on your spectacles , take hold of the
receiver tube
at the bend and press the ear-
piece into the auditory canal (Symbolic image
3). The earpiece should be inserted into the ear
until the receiver tube lies against it. Once the
earpiece is correctly placed, the receiver tube
should not be protruding from the ear when
observed in the mirror.
Never try to change the shape of the
tube system yourself.
in the battery compartment. When replacing
a battery, please ensure that you remove the
old battery first before inserting the new one.
Only use zinc air batteries in size 312. Remove
the adhesive strip from the positive terminal.
Then wait the amount of time stipulated by the
manufacturer before inserting the battery into
the hearing module.
Please note that a weak battery may impair
the transmission characteristics of your hear-
ing module.
pan
does not have an ON/OFF switch. The module
switches on when the battery compartment
is closed and switches off when it is opened.
After your day's use and/or when the module is
not being used, we recommend storing it with
the battery compartment open in a safe place
out of reach of children. Opening the battery
compartment also enables you to dry any
moisture that has accumulated.
