Ramp maintenance
Oil may be added to the jack as follows;
1. Pump the lift to its maximum height, without any motorcycle load.
2. Remove the stopper on the cylinder as shown.
3. Pour hydraulic oil into the hole until the chamber is full.
4. Lower the jack and let the excess oil flow out of hole, take care to
ensure the oil is colleted.
5. Replace the stopper into the cylinder.
6. Repeat this action as required to bleed all air out of cylinder.
Caution
•
When not in use, always store the lift at its lowest height.
•
When lift is at its maximum height, do not attempt to pump it any higher as this can cause damage
to the mechanism.
•
When lowering the lift take care to control the speed of descent.
•
Do not attempt to modify the setting of the lift in any way, if in doubt contact the supplier.
•
Always check the lift before use, if any signs of wear or damage are noticed then the lift must NOT
be used.
•
Never sit on the bike when it is being lifted.
•
Do not run the engine of the bike when it is on the lift.
