Noise Control PRO – Instructions

Warnings for the secure and correct use

1.  Keep these instructions for further use.

2.  The Noise Control PRO is only to be used during school-lessons or similar 

situations.

3.  It is not a toy!

4.  Do not ever expose it to heat, moisture or wetness: Danger of short circuit.

5.  Only use the battery pack when connected to the power supply. Normal 

batteries pose a hazard of leaking.

6.  Before use, always make sure that all the electric parts such as cables, 

power supply, connectors and body housing are in perfect condition! Do not 

use any damaged parts!

7.  Only use a soft cloth to clean the Noise Control PRO. Do not use detergents contain-

ing alcohol. Otherwise the surface may be damaged.

8.  Do not expose the battery pack to fire or high tempartures.

9.  Place the device in an easy accessible way to enable an easy disconnection of the 

power adapter from the power supply system.

10.  The supported safety mechanism may be damaged, if the device is not  

used in the intended way.

How to install the Noise Control PRO

1.  Table: You can place the Noise Control PRO on a table.

2.  Wall: You find two suspensions in the back of the unit. The Noise Control PRO can be 

attached to the wall either with nails or with screws. Choose either according to the wall 

conditions.

3.  Stand (tripod): Turn down the two adjustment clips in the back of the Noise Control 

PRO, and you can attach it to a stand.

4.  Steel board (optional): On the backside the Noise Control PRO is provided 

with 4 screw devices, where you can mount the optionally available magnets. 

You then can attach it to anything metallic such as a steel board or a white board.

Where to place the Noise Control PRO

1.  Install it in a place which is neither too hot, nor moist or wet.

2.  The Noise Control PRO always reacts to the nearest noises. For example, 

if you place it next to an open window it will also react to the outside noises.

3.  Try out different places and find the most suitable for you and your group.

 

We suggest a place close to your group.

Electricity-operated

Inserting or respectively changing the Battery Pack

1A:  Open the compartment on the backside of the Noise Control PRO,  

using a screw driver.

2A:  Remove the battery pack from the compartment by carefully pulling the 

connector cable out of the white, two-phase connection socket.

3A:  Insert the connector cable into the white, two-phase connection socket on the right 

side (see picture). Insert the optionally available battery pack type NIMH 4,8 V into the 

compartment.

4A:  Shut the compartment.

You can upgrade your Anti Noise Alarm with the battery pack (Nr./Art. 74748).

Indicator of charging conditions

Green is shining – battery is charged

Green is flickering – battery charge is not sufficient

Red is shining – battery is empty or not installed

1. The Noise Control PRO automatically 

charges the battery pack, as soon as it is 

plugged in. The power supply is designed 

for the European power network system. 

The charging may take up to 10 hours.

1. Start by connecting the power supply 

with the Noise Control PRO. Then connect 

the power supply with the power network 

(The power supply is designed for the 

European power network system).

2. Remove the power supply after the 

battery pack is fully charged. Now the 

Noise Control PRO can be used without 

the power supply. 

2. When laying the electric power cable 

make sure it is neither bent, pulled along 

or chafed.
