CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
Amplifier
AUX2/FX CONTROL:
Adjusts effector volume input
signal. Aux 2 is ideal for sending a signal to outboard
processors.
AUX1 CONTROL:
Auxiliary Convey. Set the stereo signal
from outside and control through stereo and mono
channel. Aux 1 is ideal for sending a signal to monitors
or headphone amplifiers.
PAD SWITCH:
This switch is for microphones and
balanced line-level signals that produce a higher output
than usual may require that the gain control is turned way
down. When it is not used, you should push the switch to
disengaged state ( ). When it is used, you should push
the switch to engaged ( ). This prevents overloading the
microphone preamp and provides better gain control.
The pad only applies to XLR inputs, not the ¼” TRS inputs.
EQUALIZER (HIGH, MID and LOW):
Adjusts the
channel’s high, mid, and low frequency bands. Setting
the knob to the “0” position produces a flat response in
the corresponding band. Turning the knob to the right
boosts the corresponding frequency band, while turning
to the left attenuates the band.
GAIN CONTROL:
Adjusts the input signal level. To get
the best balance between the S/N ratio and the
dynamic range, adjust the gain so that the PEAK
indicator 9 lights on the LEVEL METER only occasionally
and briefly on the highest input transients. The -60 to +10
scale is the MIC input adjustment range. The 40 to +10
scale is the LINE input adjustment range.
