INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT:
Before commencing installation, ensure that there are no pipes
or wires located behind the wall that you will be drilling into.
•
Ensure that the hanging location has been decided upon and marked clearly
to avoid unwanted damage in the wall due to incorrect positioning.
•
Check there the mirror is not damaged prior to installation.
•
Take care unpacking, do not use a sharp blade to open as this may damage
the mirror and void your warranty.
At the back of the mirror, there are 2 hanging hooks
spaced across the top.
To hang the mirror, two holes are
required in the wall. Before drilling, ensure that no wires
or pipes are behind the wall. If unsure, seek professional
advice.
1.
Measure the distance between the centre of the two hanging points.
2.
Make a note of the distance and mark their position on the wall. Use a
spirit level to ensure that the marks are level.
3.
Drill the 2 holes into the wall at the position marked using a suitable drill
bit.
4.
Insert the wall plugs into the holes.
5.
Insert the screws into the wall plugs, ensuring their heads are protruding
by approximately 3mm.
6.
Check to ensure the screws line up correctly and the mirror can be safely
hung from them.
7.
Carefully lower the mirror onto the 2 screws, ensuring that is secure and
will not slide.
