COOLANT

Check  the  level  (this  must  be  done  with 
cold engine) as follows:
-  Unscrew  the  filler  cap  (A)  and  visually 

check the fluid level.

-  If the level is close to the bottom of the 

tube, add fluid as follows:

-  Add the coolant to the system through the 

radiator. 

-  Undo screw (F) located on the left-hand 

side of the cylinder head until the coolant 
comes out of the bleed hole.

-  Tighten  the  bleed  screw  and  continue 

pouring the liquid into the radiator until it 
reaches the flared section in proximity to 
the filler cap.

The  capacity  of  the  circuit  is  given  in  the 
table on page 47. Use the fluids recommen-
ded in the table on page 53.

Caution

To prevent scalding, never unscrew the ra-
diator filler cap when the engine is hot.
