5.2.2.2 Connecting and Disconnecting Driving Tubes
The driving tube transfers the driving and suction pressures from the driving unit to the
blood pump.

Pull out the seal plugs and put
them in the holder.

Grasp the connector plug by its
ribbed body.
3.
Insert the connector plug into
the appropriate connector.

In the end position, the connector plug will snap into place. The plug is
locked and cannot disengage itself.

Check the connector plug for correct positioning. To do so, hold the fixed por-
tion of the plug body and pull lightly. The plug may not loosen itself from the
connection socket. It is important to ensure proper plug connections so that
the connector plugs do not accidentally come loose and interrupt care.
6.
To pull the connector plug out, grasp the ribbed area and pull upwards.
