7. CONNECTING THE POLE (Fig. 6a-6b)
Using the telescopic long handle (Fig. 1) you can prune the branches farther away. Holding the Connecting pole with
one hand, and the front of the pruner with the other, first push the battery pack on the pruner in to The pruner
bracket(Fig. 1a/Item 6) as shown(Fig. 6a), until the pruner is fully in place.
Close the pruner cover (Fig. 1a/Item 5) and tighten the butterfly bolt (Fig. 6b/Item 20). Then connect the power
connector (Fig. 1a/Item 7) to the battery pack on the pruner.
To take apart, proceed in the reverse order.
8. USING THE EXTENSION AND ROTATION FEATURE ON CONNECTING POLE
Extend or shorten the length of the telescopic pole (Fig. 1a/Item 8) by loosening (Fig. 9) the Clamp coupling for
telescopic pole (Fig. 1a/Item 11) and pull in or push out the lower section to achieve the correct height as shown
below. Then tighten the coupling.
8.1 Adjusting the angle of pruner in the vertical direction (Fig. 7a-7b)
Press the Rotating button (Fig. 1a/Item 12) on both sides for the angle of tilt adjustment. Now you can set the pruner
to the required tilt. Release the button and allow the pruner to lock into position to fix the angle of tilt. Four different
locking angles are possible. The adjusting range is from 0 ° to 90 °.
8.2 Adjusting the angle of pruner in the horizontal direction (Fig. 8)
Holding the
‘Connecting pole’ with one hand, and the ‘pruner bracket’ (Fig. 1a/Item 6) with the other, rotate the pruner
bracket firmly to the required angle. The adjusting range is from -90 ° to +90 °.
9. OPERATING THE POLE PRUNER
To close the blade activate the handle safety lock-off (Fig. 1a / Item 9) by pushing it forward and pressing the handle
ON/ OFF switch (Fig. 1a /Item 10) at the same time.
To open the blade, let go of the handle ON/OFF switch (Fig. 1a / Item 10).
10. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning!
Always wear protective gloves when using, adjusting or cleaning the machine.
10.1 Cleaning
• Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as possible. Wipe the equipment
with a clean cloth or blow it with compressed air at low pressure.
• We recommend that you clean the device immediately each time you have finished using it.
• Clean the equipment regularly with a moist cloth and some soft soap. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these
could attack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensure that no water can seep into the device.
• A few drops of oil (e.g. sewing machine oil) will improve the cutting performance of the blades, but never apply any
grease to the blades.
Important!
Never clean the tool under running water - and particularly never with high pressure - because of the potential danger
to persons and property. Keep your cordless pruner in a dry and frost proof place. Choose a place that children are
unable to enter.
10.2 Maintenance
• To achieve good results you should keep the blades sharp at all times. The tool should be thoroughly cleaned both
before and after use.
• There are no parts inside the equipment which require additional maintenance.
