error messages
Here are the possible system error mes-
sages, which mean:
air temperature sensor fault
If the sensor used to detect the ambient
air temperature measures a minimum
value of -45°C or above 65°C, it will be
considered faulty and the display will
show “--”.
Humidity sensor fault
If the sensor used to detect humidity
reads less than 0 RH% or more than 99
RH%, it will be considered faulty and
the display will show “--”.
eePROm fault
If the non-volatile memory (EEPROM)
is faulty, the display will show an er-
ror “E4” instead of the air temperature
in the room. When this error occurs and
the thermostat is powered, all the in-
staller’s configurations, the hourly pro-
gram settings and the user settings are
restored to the default factory values.
This could lead to incorrect appliance
operation. There is no way to correct
this error. The thermostat must be re-
placed.
Communication fault
If the control panel fails to receive CCN
information from the GMC board on the
heat pump for 50 seconds, the display
will show the error code “E3” instead
of the temperature and ‘-’ in the entire
display area dedicated to the time. In
these circumstances, the outdoor tem-
perature will be deleted. The error code
“E3” will be displayed once and the
other functions will remain unaffected.
If this happens, check the communica-
tion cable between the control panel
and the external unit.

sages, please contact the Technical
