Checking the connection:

☞

Ensure that the extractor hood is switched off.

☞

Plug the mains plug into the socket.

If the device is not connected correctly, four beeps will
sound.

☞

Correct the connection of the wires to terminals 1 and 2.

If the device is connected correctly, two will beeps sound.

☞

Make sure that the device can be disconnected on all
poles from the electricity supply after installation.

☞

Ensure that the extractor hood is reinstalled professionally
(e.g. through assembly of the chimney).

3.2.4

Configuring the extractor hood

In order to use the device, the extractor hood must be
configured such that the recirculated air mode is deactivated.

Configuration:

Touch

field

Function

The device is switched on, the power stages
are not active.

☞

Touch the touch field 1x - for longer than
10 seconds.

The power level touch field flashes 5x.
The device switches to configuration mode.

The configuration mode is turned on.
To exit the configuration mode:

☞

Touch the touch field 1x.

The settings are now saved.
All operating symbols illuminate for 5 seconds.
The device is in normal mode again.

Recirculated air mode.

As delivered, the function is turned off.

☞

Touch the touch field 1x.

Touch field illuminates brightly,
touch field for recirculated air mode
illuminates dimly:
The recirculated air mode is activated.

Touch the touch field 1x.

Touch field illuminates dimly,
touch field for recirculated air mode is off:
The recirculated air mode is deactivated.

Deactivate recirculated air mode.

The device is ready for operation.

Check and carry out commissioning

ATTENTION!

Risk of disruptions due to moisture in the device!

If the device is moved from a cold environment into a hot
one, condensation may form inside.

Wait about 2-3 hours before bringing the device into
service.

☞

Ensure that the air outlets on the extractor hood are not
closed or covered.

☞

Ensure that the extractor hood is configured correctly.

☞

Check that the extractor hood is functioning correctly.
