Hanging the chimney stack

WARNING!

Danger of injuries through improper handling!

Hanging the device requires a great deal of physical exertion 
due to its size and weight. If the device falls down, serious 
injuries are possible.

 

Two persons are required to hang the device.

 

Ensure stable footing when hanging the device.

 

Ensure that no other people are in the working area.

Hanging the device requires a great deal of physical exertion 
due to its size and weight. If the device falls, the device, 
kitchen furnishings and other objects could be damaged.

 

Cover the cooled hob.

 

Keep the installation area clear.

 

Arrange the chimney stack with the front side facing the 
front side of the cooking surface.

 

Lift the chimney stack.

 

Attach the chimney stack to the ceiling with the bolt 
anchors.

 

Twist the chimney stack so that it is held in the position of 
the two lock holes by the nuts.

 

Make sure that the chimney stack is held in this position.

 

Align the front side of the chimney stack parallel to the 
front side of the cooking surface.

 

Firmly tighten the nuts at the lock holes.

 

Screw the nuts and washers onto both bolt anchors and 
firmly tighten the nuts.

 

Ensure that all nuts are fully tightened.

 

Remove the cover from the cable compartment on the 
chimney stack.

The hood body cables are secured for transport.

 

Remove the transport protection from the cable before 
attachment.
