Electric Hotplate Use instructions

Important Notice!

1. The voltage of your power source must be as indicated on the device.

Only connect to an AC power source (alternating current).

2. Don’t disconnect the appliance with wet hands and without to force the supply cord.

Please ensure that the connecting power cable will not touch any hot parts of this device 

or of any other electrical appliance close by.

3. The device must be placed on a heat resistant surface. As a general fire precaution the unit ould 

be placed at a minimum distance of 10cm from any wall surface. Please allow for sufficient free 

space above the device and ensure unhindered air circulation.

4. During operation the device becomes hot. Be careful not to burn yourself!

5. Children are often unaware of the potential dangers from electric equipment. Therefore never 

allow children to use this device without appropriate supervision.

6. Never submerge the unit in water for cleaning purposes. Neither water nor steam should be per-

mitted to penetrate from below and no kind of steam jet cleaning equipment should be used.

7. The device should never be used as a substitute radiator for heating a room. As hot oil or grease 

may in fact ignite the device should always be operated under close supervision. 

8. Don’t move the appliance with aid of supply cord.

9. Use the appliance only in the described manner,if the appliance isn’t used,please turn off.

10. The appliance don’t put down near hot surfaces e.g. hotplate,oven etc,because the material 

can smelt.

11.  Improper use of this device automatically invalidates the product warranty.

When using the unit for the first time:

Without placing anything on the unit set the control for plate for about 10 minutes at maximum heat. 

In this fashion the coating of the heating plate achieve its optimum protective effect. For a brief mo-

ment the unit may emanate a slight smoke. Do not be alarmed as this is normal.

Operating Instructions

This device is equipped with a thermostat. It permits an infinite variable heat control as well as 

protection against overheating. Whenever the desired temperature is reached the control light will 

go off. In this way the light indicates the continuous operation of the thermostat controlled heat 

regulation.

Only use pots and frying pans of the correct diameter and of the type for electric heating plate. Pans 

with an uneven base only waste electric energy.

Avoid placing wet lids or pots on the cast iron heating plate as this may cause it to rust.

Security Notice

-  Our electric appliances satisfy the relevant security regulations. Should any damage occur to the 

unit or Silicon rubber wire or the power cable then retract the power plug at once. Repairs should 

only be done by either our own factory customer service or an appropriately authorized repair shop. 

Improper repairs may expose the user to considerable risks.

-  A periodically maintenance(description see in this manual) of the appliance is necessary.

-  The temperature of accessible surface may get hot when the appliance is operating.

-  If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or simi-

larly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
