Appendix A: Bentek Zone Monitoring System using an Ethernet Interface
Setting Up the Ethernet Port on the PC
From the Windows Control Panel, select Local Area Connection. When the Local
Area Connection Properties dialog box appears, click
Properties
. In the General
tab, highlight
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
and click
Properties
. Enter the values
for IP address, Subnet mask, and Default gateway exactly as shown in
.

Connecting the Ethernet Cable to the Analog Input Module
Plug an Ethernet cable into the connector on the Analog Input Module in the
BUSS. Connect the other end of the cable to the PC or through a hub that
connects the PC and the Analog Input Module.
The Analog Input Module contains an internal website. The address of the
website is 192.168.255.1. Open a browser window and enter the website address
into the browser. In the Login screen, enter the user name of
Admin
and the
password of
Admin
. The home page of the website in the Analog Input Module
displays.
NOTE
You can change the default address using the Configuration menu.
From the home page, select the Web HMI menu and the Web HMI option. The
analog voltage for each of the 20 channels displays in a table, as shown in
