• Press slightly the cut end of the half fruit on the small or the large cone, depending on the
size of the fruit.

Caution

: If you apply too much pressure on the juicing cone, the motor may seize.

The juicer switches on automatically when you press the fruit down and the cone starts to run.
• The juice flows into the juice container after passing through the strainer.
• For best results, adjust the hold of the fruit to ensure that all parts of the flesh are squeezed.
To maximize the quantity of juice extracted from a fruit, press a fruit half onto the cone several
times.
• Do not put excessive pressure on the juice cone: If the motor starts making too much noise
or the speed of the motor decreases significantly, there is too much pressure being exerted on
the cone.
• The motor stops automatically when the fruit is removed from the cone or when it ceases
to be pressed.
• The juice container has a sealable spout.
• If you wish to collect the juice in the container, press the spout upwards to close it.
• If you want the juice to run straight into a glass, press the spout downwards to open it and
place a glass under it so that the juice runs into it.

ATTENTION

: Never operate the appliance continuously for more than five minutes as this

would damage the motor.

ATTENTION

: This appliance is designed for household use only.

After Use

• Unplug the appliance by pulling the plug from the supply mains.
• Remove the cone, the strainer, the juice container and the drive shaft from the appliance and
clean them.

Juicing Advice

• Citrus fruit juices should be consumed immediately and never stored in a metal container.
• Citrus juices are ideal for mixing. For example, you can mix orange juice with lemon juice for
an extra vitamin C kick.
• Freshly squeezed juice gives cocktails a particularly tangy twist and better flavor.
• Lemon juice is also delicious in hot tea and additionally helps you build up your defenses
when you have a cold.

Care and Cleaning

• Before performing any cleaning operation, it is absolutely necessary to unplug the appliance
from the mains.

Caution

: To avoid the danger of electric shock, do not immerse the motor base in water or any

other liquid and do not hold it under running water.
• After each use, disassemble the various parts of the appliance and place the removable parts
in warm soapy water for cleaning. Rinse thoroughly.
• The juicing cones, strainer and juice container are suitable for use in the dish washer.
• After each use, wash the spout with warm soapy water and rinse well.
