Minor defect
A minor defect is a defect that is not likely to reduce materially the usability of the product
for its intended purpose, or is a departure from established standards having little
bearing on the effective use of operation of the product.

CLASSIFICATION OF DEFECTIVES
A defective is a product which contains one or more defects. The defective will be
classified into following classes:
Critical defective
A critical defective contains one or more critical and may also contain major and/or minor
defects.
Major defective
A major defective contains one or more defects and may also contain minor defects but
contains no critical defect.
Minor defective
A minor defective contains one or more minor defects but contains no critical and major
defects.

INSPECTION STANDARD
Unless otherwise specified, the inspection standard will be defined by ANSI/ASQC Z1.4,
SINGLE SAMPLING PLAN. Level II is in use all the time, inspection levels are normal,
reduce and tighten.
