Encrypt phone
Encrypt all data on your phone. You must enter a numeric PIN or password to
decrypt your phone each time you turn it on. Encryption is irreversible. The
only way to revert to an unencrypted phone is to perform a factory data reset,
which erases all your data.
Set up SIM card lock
Protect your micro-SIM card against unauthorized use with a personal
identification number (PIN). When you turn on your phone, enter the PIN to
unlock your micro-SIM card.
