Q: Why I can’t scan after install MiraPhoto on my Windows 95?

A: This is probably because you mis-direct system to install driver for

Windows 98. To replace with driver for 95, follow these steps:

1. Delete Sti2740S.inf & ClrScan.inf two files under \\windows\inf.

2. Launch registry editor. Go to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\enum\SCSI”

key. If there are any keys that start with “COLOR__FILMSCANNER” or

“COLOR__FLATBEDSCANNER”, delete those keys.

3. Still under registry editor, go to

“\HEKY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Service\Class\Ima

ge”. Process key 0000, key 0001, and so on one by one. If there is a

value “2740S.Scanner” under “InfSection” string, delete the whole

“000n” key.
