Reset profile
Press (
Options
) and select
Reset
profile
.
A predefined profile cannot be reset if it
was locked by your provider.
Auto header
If the function is activated the Header
template (page 22) is automatically in-
serted at the start of any SMS created.
Auto signature
If the function is activated, the Signature
template (page 22) is automatically
inserted at the end of any SMS created.
Save sent items
If the function is activated, all SMS mes-
sages sent are automatically saved in the
Sent folder.
Auto delete SMS
If the function is activated, the oldest
SMS message in the Inbox is deleted
when a new SMS message arrives.
Emoticons
Emoticons are little symbols (smilies)
expressing your feelings. If this function
is activated, emoticons are automatical-
ly displayed as little pictures.
Text size
You can set the displayed size of the text
in the SMS Viewer.
Recipient
Set a default recipient for
the profile. Select
Add fr.
Contacts
and select con-
tact/ distribution list, or
enter a number. This re-
cipient is automatically
added to each SMS.
Validity
period
If SMS could not be deliv-
ered during this period, it
is automatically deleted
from the message centre.
Status report
A status report is sent
when a message is deliv-
ered successfully. If
Ask
on send
is activated, a
prompt is displayed
when SMS is sent.
Send
confirmation
Set whether or not a con-
firmation is displayed for
messages successfully
sent.
SMS access
Select
GSM
/
GPRS
mode
for sending/receiving
SMS.
SMS memory
Select
Phone
/
SIM
as the
default save location for
incoming SMS.
SMS type
Select delivery type
