3.7.10 Acknowledging the Nurse Call
To acknowledge the triggered nurse call, tap Attendant Present in the main menu. The
“Nurse Call Cancelled” message will display in the message area.
For details about how to trigger a nurse call, refer to 2.6 TM80 Physical View .

Do not only rely on the nurse call function, the medical personnel should also
pay close attention to the patient’s condition.
3.8 Using the Pouch
The telemetry monitor is not intended for direct contact with the patient’s skin. During
normal use, the telemetry monitor should be worn over clothing, in a pocket, or in a pouch.
The waterproof pouch with a clear window front is an appropriate means for holding the
telemetry monitor. Disposable pouches specified in this manual can be used for the
telemetry monitor. For details about the pouch, refer to
18.4 Miscellaneous .
For how to use the pouch for BP10, refer to BP10 Operator’s Manual .
CAUTION
•
If a patient needs to take a shower, check the telemetry monitor as described in
17.3 Regular Check before showering, use the specified disposable pouch only,
and secure the pouch on the patient as described in this section.

During showering, do not let water enter or accumulate in the pouch. Besides,
do not perform SpO
2
or NIBP measurement.
•
When the patient is showering, signal quality and leads off detection may be
compromised due to significant movement. Appropriate clinical precautions
must be taken.
3.8.1 Securing the Pouch for the Telemetry Monitor
To secure the pouch:
1. Place the telemetry monitor into the pouch with the ECG leadwires and the SpO
2
sensor cable, if used, exiting from the pouch opening, as shown in the following fig-
ures.
