QUICK START: WHAT TO DO FIRST     17

Removing the battery

1.  Push the release catch downwards.

2.  Pull the battery carefully away from the rear of

the phone.

Initializing the phone

Before starting to use the phone for the first time,
please note the following:

•The battery of the phone should be charged

overnight before taking the phone into use for
the first time.

•The battery will reach its full capacity only after a

couple of charging - discharging times.

•If the phone is kept in storage with its battery

removed for a prolonged period of time, the
phone’s internal memory backup battery might
be discharged. It may cause that the power of the
phone will not turn on. In this case, charging the
battery normally will fix the problem.

Turning the phone on 

1.  Press the power button (

/

) for about two sec-

onds to turn the phone on. If the SIM card is
not inserted, the phone will prompt you to in-
sert it. Turn the phone off and insert the card.

2.  Enter the PIN code if the phone prompts for it.

If you make a mistake press
